Y1 Seasonal Changes (Day Discs)

Children make discs from card for each of the four seasons; turning the top disc reveals the weather and daylight at a particular time of day

Learning Objectives:

  • PoS - observe changes across the four seasons; observe and describe weather associated with the seasons and how day length varies
  • NaG - pupils should observe and talk about changes in the weather and the seasons
  • WS - pupils might work scientifically by: making displays of what happens in the world around them
