Y2 Plants and Light

Pupils plan an investigation to answer the question 'Do plants need light?'.

Learning Objectives:

  • PoS - find out and describe how plants need water, light and a suitable temperature to grow and stay healthy
  • NaG - seeds and bulbs need water to grow but do not need light
  • WS - pupils should set up a comparative test to show that plants need light and water to stay healthy; use their observations and ideas to suggest answers to questions
