Y5 Growing Older

Pupils cut out pictures that show the changes that can happen to people as they get older. Pupils place these pictures into a timeline and try to explain the changes that are occurring.

Learning Objectives:

  • PoS - describe the changes as humans develop to old age
  • NaG - pupils should learn about the changes experienced in puberty; they should draw a timeline to indicate stages in the growth and development of humans
  • WS - pupils should identify scientific evidence that has been used to support or refute ideas or arguments
