Y2 Exercising

Pupils carry out an investigation into exercise, muscles and body parts. They have to identify the muscles and body parts used when carrying out a range of simple exercises. Pupils also have to identify body changes that occur when completing exercises.

Learning Objectives:

  • PoS- describe the importance for humans of exercise, eating the right amounts of different types of food, and hygiene
  • NaG - pupils should be introduced to the basic needs of animals for survival, as well as the importance of exercise and nutrition for humans
  • WS - pupils should observe first-hand, what humans need to stay healthy
