Pupils match the skull and teeth to a range of animals. Using the teeth as clues the pupils have to identify and explain the types of diets each of the animals would eat.
Learning Objectives:
PoS - identify the different types of teeth in humans and their simple functions
NaG - pupils might work scientifically by: comparing the teeth of carnivores and herbivores, and suggesting reasons for differences
WS - making systematic and careful observations; using straightforward scientific evidence to answer questions or to support their findings
