Y1 Describing the Seasons

Children choose from a variety of statements to describe each season; they have the opportunity to add their own descriptions

Learning Objectives:

  • PoS - observe changes across the four seasons; observe and describe weather associated with the seasons and how day length varies
  • NaG - pupils should observe and talk about changes in the weather and the seasons
  • WS - pupils might work scientifically by: making displays of what happens in the world around them
