Y5 Animal Gestation Periods

Pupils learn what does the term ‘gestation period’ means? They learn that different animals have different gestation periods.
Cut and paste the animals into their correct place in the ‘gestation’ table.




Learning Objectives:

  • PoS - describe the changes as humans develop to old age
  • NaG - pupils could work scientifically by researching the gestation periods of other animals and comparing them with humans
  • WS - pupils should identify scientific evidence that has been used to support or refute ideas or arguments
