NEW YEAR 6 SCIENCE TESTS AVAILABLE FOR YOUR PUPILS

April 01st 2016

Sigma Science now has three YEAR 6 SCIENCE TESTS (formerly known as SATs) together with their answer keys. The questions are based on the relevant sections of the National Curriculum programme of study for Science (2014) at KS2. The test papers adhere to the style of the Biennial Science Sampling Tests for Key Stage 2, which resume this year.

There are three tests, covering questions in a biology context, a physics context and a chemistry context. The marks on each paper total 22, as in the biennial tests, and we advise that the duration for each test should be 25 minutes.

These tests are an ideal way of giving your pupils some experience of sitting the real thing, particularly if your school is chosen to participate in the sampling tests in June.

You will find these science tests and their answer keys in the Sigma Science Assessment KS2 package.
